The 4th World Teak Conference will be held in Ghana during 24-27 August 2020. The conference is organized by the International Teak Information Network (TEAKNET)- India in association with Forestry Commission of Ghana, co-sponsored by Teakwood working group of International Union Of Forest Research Organization (IUFRO), Food and agriculture organization (FAO) and International Tropical Timber Organization (ITTO), Japan. Topics of the conference include smallholder teak plantations, cost-benefit analysis on teak investments, tree improvement, genetics, silviculture and stand management, environmental protection and biodiversity conservation.
